ABOUT ME : I am Gayatri Aradhye.I am living in USA with my husband and daughter.I worked as QA for around 4 years in India until I came to USA.Now I am running my family with 24*7 support and maintenance.My job also includes cooking delicious and healthy food for my two angels.I have 100% job satifaction here.
STARTING THE BLOG : I always loved cooking but could not dedicate much of time because of my job.Also, I was not aware that I could have such big platform in the world of Internet to share my hobby until I came to USA.After coming here,I had plenty of time and space to try on different recipes.Then I thought of sharing my recipes with others which might be helpful to others.That is how I created this blog
REGIONAL EFFECT ON MY COOKING : My father is from Uttar Karnataka near Belgaum(Belgavi).and my Mother is from Paschim Maharashtra near Kolhapur.Though there is not much difference in cooking style in both families, but there was wide range of variety of food items that I could taste from both the states.There was difference in Masalas, difference in method, difference in texture,different names.That is why as a child I could experience same food in different ways.My mom is a great cook.Her Speciality is "Aamti".no one can beat her in that.I still ask her on phone for recipes as every other daughter does.I try to present those authentic food recipes along with other recipes here.There is long way to go.More to learn.Plenty to present on blog.
PHOTOS : Each photo in this blog is Clicked and edited by me.I use Canon T3i DSLR.I sometimes use free editing websites for editing.I soon will buy some good editing software for better presentation.
BLOG CONTENT AND PHOTO USAGE : I understand that the Language is same and so is vocabulary.But every person has his/her own way of presenting the contents and that itself becomes unique way.
Same thing applies to Photography.Though the cameras may be the same but tecniques,imagination and presentation are always unique.
It takes lot of time,efforts,creativity and patience right from cooking to presenting the recipe on blog.I am sure that, you as a responsible viewer and reader, always keep this thing is mind and give the credit that I deserve when you use my Contents,Recipes and Photos...
